Jake Hogan

First-Year Medical Student, Washington University, Saint Louis

Jake Hogan spent two summers conducting research in AI and machine learning to develop the brain age of patients. He was recently accepted into Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis where he hopes to be a clinician and clinical researcher.

More about Jake can be found here.

"I believe that this experience had the single biggest impact on my career as a future physician. Through it, I presented at an international conference in Vancouver, Canada, published two articles so far, got an outstanding letter of recommendation for medical school, and learned how to create a clinical research plan, analyze data, search for and address problems, and write scientifically. This experience also solidified my desire to be a practicing clinician who performs clinical research as well. Without this experience, I would not have gotten into Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, where I'll be starting this fall."
