About Us

The BYU Premedical Society was founded in 2020 with the mission and purpose of mentoring and assisting the next generation of Christ-centered physicians.

Mission Statement
The mission of the BYU Medical Society is to create a worldwide community of Christ-centered physicians whose purpose is to mentor the rising generation of physicians and serve our communities together with integrity, knowledge, and compassion.

Goals
The BYU Medical Society will:

  1. Create a network of physicians to mentor undergraduate and medical trainees. Join here to become a mentor.
  2. Raise funds to support BYU undergraduate extramural summer research training fellowships. Learn more about the BYU Premedical Research Internship Program.
  3. Develop our web presence to provide a place of gathering, communication, and encouragement.
  4. Plan future social, educational, and service events to cultivate a culture of integrity, knowledge, and compassion.
