Will Evans

Medical Student at Duke University School of Medicine

Will did a summer of research in Palo Alto with the Stanford Department of General Surgery following his sophomore year of undergraduate. He worked in a lab under Dr. Brendan Visser, hepatobiliary surgeon, studying blood clotting complications following neuroendocrine GI tumor resections. This valuable summer internship developed his interest in academic medicine, and he currently is in medical school at the Duke University School of Medicine, interested in clinical and population level interventions to combat gastrointestinal and cardiovascular disease prevalence in the United States.
